Frankfort City Library is open to the public Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Holiday and Closure Days
- New Year’s Day – January 1st
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – third Monday of the January
- President’s Day – third Monday of February
- Memorial Day – last Monday of May
- Independence Day – July 4th
- Labor Day – first Monday of September
- Veteran’s Day – November 11th
- Thanksgiving Day, fourth Thursday in November
- Day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve – December 24th
- Christmas Day – December 25th
- New Year’s Eve – December 31st (1/2 day)
From time to time, and for certain speical occasions, other days may be designated. For instance, if a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday, the preceding Friday or the following Monday may be declared a holiday.
