Friends of the Frankfort City Library

Fall Fest Friends 2023

The Friends of the Frankfort City Library (FFCL) is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to supporting and enhancing library services for the community. Through fundraising, advocacy, and hands-on involvement, the Friends help ensure that the library remains a vibrant and accessible resource for all ages. Their efforts directly contribute to the growth and enrichment of library programs, literacy initiatives, and community outreach projects.

Over the years, the FCCL have donated countless books to expand the library’s collection, ensuring that patrons have access to a diverse selection of reading materials. They also maintain the Little Free Library, keeping it stocked with books and puzzles so that the joy of reading extends beyond the library walls. As a sponsor of the Summer Reading Program, the Friends help bring exciting events, engaging activities, and reading incentives to local children, fostering a love of literacy in the community. Additionally, they play a crucial role in digitizing the library’s historical records, preserving important pieces of Frankfort and Marshall County history for future generations.

The FFCL continue to sponsor and support library programs, making it possible to offer enriching activities, author visits, and educational opportunities that benefit the entire community. Their unwavering dedication helps strengthen the library’s mission to promote literacy, lifelong learning, and community engagement. Whether through funding special projects, volunteering time, or advocating for library services, the Friends of the Frankfort City Library are making a lasting impact on the town and its residents.
